The Sunday Well Boy's National School in Cork have recreated the 1916 Rising....with a twist.
"Lego 1916 The Movie", a four minute stop-frame animation, took teacher Michael O'Connor and his third class a month to make.
The detail and work that went into the project is clearly evident and O'Connor has been racking up the praise on Twitter and Youtube for his unique approach to teaching history.
Rick O'Shea of 2fm tweeted: "This is really inventive and fun" and another humourously commented on the Youtube video that it had "better Production values and is more Historically accurate then RTE's Rebellion"
