Irish School Takes Part in Global Collaboration Video

Posted by Schooldays Newshound, on 27/09/2016. Irish School Takes Part in Global Collaboration VideoTags: Teachers

Twenty schools from around the world collaborated on a global video to promote the International Day of Peace 2016. Among them was our own St Joseph's National School in Kinvara, Co. Galway.

The video also shows students from New York to New Zealand and from Guatemala to Kuala Lumpur dancing along to Wavin' Flags, the popular Fifa World Cup song from 2010. All the children learned the song and recorded themselves singing, dancing and playing sports.

The collaboration was orchestrated by a teacher in New York, Lisa Parisi, who put all the schools' videos together to make one unified video for peace.
