The Irish Independent reports today that 50 leaving certificate students were suspended from
Kilkenny College because of an end-of-term prank.
The students reportedly dressed up and disrupted a weekly assembly at the College. Both boys and girls were involved and received a three day suspension for the incident.
In a separate prank, Leaving Cert students from
Skerries Community College in Dublin are reported to have put their school up for sale last week on DoneDeal. The ad has since been taken down from the website but not before the Principal received a number of offers to buy the school which was advertised with a price tag of €2.5m. The incident was treated as a harmless prank.
