Posted by Schooldays Newshound, on 03/07/2018. Free Public Transport for Kids with Leap CardTags: Parents

Kids under 19 can travel for free on public transport with a Child Leap Card from 2nd – 15th July.

Children can look forward to many a family outing not only in Dublin, but also in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford too!

The 'Kids Go Free' scheme applies to most public transportation including Bus Eireann, Irish Rail Commuter Services, Cork to Cobh/Midleton train lines, Luas and Dart services and Dublin Bus services.

How does it work?

Simply use your Child Leap Card as normal and you won’t be charged. Any Child Leap Card (5-15 or 16-18) can be used to get free travel from Monday 2nd July until Sunday the 15th July (inclusive) provided it has at least 1 cent Travel Credit.
