Families planning to jet abroad this year have been offered some advice on how to keep their costs down.
Speaking recently, Victoria Sanders, managing director of Teletext Holidays, said all-inclusive holidays can be a good option for those looking to save money this summer.
"It means that you can pay for your whole holiday before you travel, so any additional spending you have is just for extras like ice creams or buying souvenirs so it means you can budget for your whole holiday before you go away," she commented.
Planning ahead is also a must, particularly for families as they can make the most of free child places and discounts for booking early, Ms Sanders added.
A recent survey carried out by the company revealed that 46 per cent of parents would consider taking a holiday during the school term in order to get a good deal and cut costs.
