I was hoping to ask some advice. I am a childminder and currently mind a little girl. I charge her mother €5 per hour as is the going rate (or so I thought). I mentioned to a friend of mine, and fellow childminder, that I am currently looking to take on another child and when I told her I charge €5 she started ranting and telling me I should be charging no less than €6.
I work 9.5 hrs a day 4 days per week. This would mean that I would get €216 for a 4 day week.
Is this a normal price to charge as I wouldn´t have thought so. Am I charging to little? I don´t want to be ripping people off so I´d really appreciate any feedback.
