Look at meath county childcare website and Childminding Irelands´s website for lists of insured childminders for safety of your children. I´m afraid the quoted figure of €40 a day for three kids is at the very very low end, many would charge that alone for one child 8 hours..im aware of location rates varying etc...

I´m starting to look into childminders for my 3 children,one school going,toddler and 11 month old.How much would be the going rate for school drop and collect and two kids to be minded during the day in minders own home,roughly 7 and half hours a day and school goer for 2 hrs afterschool.i work shift work so expect to need a childminder 3-4 days a week.i would be providing all food.
