That sounds a bit odd. Was it the whole class who had to repeat the test (which would be really odd) or just one child who perhaps the teacher felt was unwell or the results didn´t represent their ability?

I have re-tested children who fell ill or had to leave early, but otherwise no. If a child is retested for no GENUINE reason,I´d be wondering why.I have also read a maths trst to a child with severe dyslexia, but the 1st tes is the official result. I used the 2nd read-out test to ensure the child had a difficulty with reading the maths test, rather than with the maths itself.

is is normal for a teacher to let pupils resit sten test the next day if at their first attempt they scored low
