Hi all, I currently work in admin in a large multi-national company and would love to change career path a little and become a school secretary. Would you be able to offer any advice on what schools might look for in candidates.
As yet I have not seen any positions become available, but have only been looking a few weeks. I am sure it will take a while! So far I have been looking on educationposts.ie and also on the VEC website. Would you be able to suggest anywhere else where might be good that I should be looking? I am also going to draft and send a letter to schools in the locality (North Kildare, Dublin west) advising them of my interest in any future positions.
