difficult reading 6yr old senior infants (gael scoil) 23/02/2010 16:08 - Homework (Locality: Dublin North) ----------------------------------- Hi all, My daughter is 6 she is in senior infants in gael scoil. following the parent teacher meeting she has giving me extra english work to do with my daughter as she said her reading is below average. I am told to spend no more than 15 mins doing her reading but at the end she still hasnt learned anything she keeps forgeting the words. Has anyone experienced this? what can i do? i feel its because the main focus in school is the irish but teacher seems to think thats not the case.
