re : chores for kids and going rate for pocket money 10/10/2006 18:00 - Money Matters ----------------------------------- i´ve got 3 kids, 13yrs, 11 and 8, and like you we´ve always bought them what they needed. we started giving eldest 2 €4 each a week recently. for this they make their beds (well straightem them out), clothes in laundry, tidy rooms, clear off table after dinner, sweep floor, etc other little chores like this. the jobs aren´t set in stone but i´ve found that they became habit very quickly. from the 4 euro, they have to save at least 2 and the rest they get to spend if we go to town or whatever at the weekend. any help!!!
chores for kids and going rate for pocket money 19/09/2006 18:30 - Money Matters ----------------------------------- I have four boys aged 7, 9+, 11 & 13 and could do with some help in determining the correct amount of weekly pocket money to give to each and I am also looking for suggestions as to suitable chores they could do. Up to now we have been buying them everything and now that our eldest has just started secondary school he is asking for pocket money.
