have you taken him to Kidz and Co in mullingar ? Its a play centre which is really open and spacious, so the kids can see you wherever they are playing. When we moved, mine were shy around other kids but they soon got their confidence back. I made friends there as well and now we meet there every week. It only costs €8 and you can stay as long as you like

Recently arrived from Spain,looking for sports /play/social afterschool activities for 8 yr old son,or does everyone just watch TV and go shopping?!
