Be open about you only needing termtime only and Use a childminder who draws up a contract and openly understand it´s term time only.
It´s generally €5 an hr for a registered childminder but as it´s termtime only and four days, you may find your being quoted a higher rate per hr. Compromise could be met by offering half pay at midterm. Equally though some childminders will require full pay all year round as your child space kept,,,,your really looking at a mum who can afford unpaid holidays as loves time with her own children.

Hi Just wondering if anyone has advice on what to pay a child minder!?...I´m a teacher and will be looking to find a termly child minder who would be ok with not being paid for long holidays like easter and summer...my baby will be one year old then and I´ll be needing him minded 4 days a week from 9am until 3.30!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
