What do Parents and Children Want from an afterschool Club? 07/12/2006 20:23 - Afterschool Care ----------------------------------- After reading some of the posts here regarding Afterschool Clubs and being new to this board I see my replies may be well out of date. I want to provide a good service for my own children and those of other parents. My daughter and her friends have thrived in many way and in social skills since I set up my own one. It is great that the government has given out some childcare allowance for up to 6 years of age but we know that it is likely that parents have to add more to it for childrens educational and leisure services. It is so worth it though if you get a great provider. Your children will benefit in so many ways. So as a provider I ask you what do you want for your children and what are you prepared to pay for it?
