-----------------------------------
In April 2014, we, a group of volunteers with type 1 diabetes, posted survey to find out what type of type 1 diabetes event people would like to attend. This is a follow-up survey which contains more details on what people wanted in a conference for parents of children with type 1 diabetes and adults with type 1. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1d_njoLSwmZY0RDqTacXdlWKuCMJv_gd4QfaSRLmlfXo/viewform?usp=send_form

Type 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed in children and young adults, and was previously known as juvenile diabetes. In type 1 diabetes, the body does not produce insulin. Insulin is a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life.

We would really appreciate it if you could spare a few minutes to complete it for us. Many, many thanks.
