Term-time, part-time 27/01/2014 11:14 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay (Locality: Meath) ----------------------------------- I´m trying to figure out if we can afford for me to go part-time. I´d be looking for childcare for a 1 year old and a 4 year old from around 8am to 1pm 5 days a week - but not including mid-terms or summer/easter/chirstmas holidays. The 4 year old would be in her ecce year, so would need to get dropped off and collected, but this would be local and walking distance.
I know that most people say €5 an hour, but i´m wondering if daily rates for a half day exist, also what would the 4 year old work out as?

Also a minder has to consider being ´unemployed´ during your hols, this set up suits some minders but others not
