But for all other holidays i get half the holidays. So if its 2 weeks off its 1week pay if its 4days i get 2. Thats way we have it work out. I also get paid for bank holidays. Regards triona

I do however charge a higher rate per hour to compensate for the unpaid weeks. I find this easier for teacher digest as anytime im full and a teacher contacted me I´d discuss it before saying I´m full and majority, if not all, looking term time only.

Just wondering, I have a teacher who is interested in having me look after her gorgeous little one. I would be starting in September!
As we know most teachers get end of term and mid term breaks, I have already agreed with her that I won´t be charging her for summer holidays and I will try fill that space with other smallies! My question is, what way should I charge her for other holidays, I wouldn´t feel right charging ful whack as there are a good few breaks, though I want to be fair to me too as I need to earn a living and am available to mind the lil one!
