Scoil Grainne or St Benedicts, Dublin 15 ? 27/08/2011 16:36 - Choosing a School / Application Procedures (Locality: Dublin West) ----------------------------------- Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience or any views on either of the above schools? Both are roughly the same distance from my house.
I had originally decided on St Benedict´s (as our preference is for an RC school), but I know nothing about it. I have heard that class sizes are very small in Scoil Grainne and there is good support in terms of SNA´s etc., and this could indeed be the case for St Benedict´s too.
My son is due to start school next September (2012), so will have to make a decision before enrolment etc starts in new year.

I must say that having smaller nr. of pupils in junior and senior infants enables greater teacher pupil interaction. The school is a bit far from my home but I will not consider changing it. Hope that helps.
