Our pupil numbers have increased to almost 300. We have just opened three new state of the art classrooms, to cater for the expansion in our numbers.
Much additional updating has taken place in the past few years including new windows throughout the campus, a magnificent I.T. Room, a fully networked I.T system throughout the school, excellent facilities for children with special needs and those considered gifted. We run a reading Club in our school, a Fun Maths activity and are involved in The Reading Recovery Programme.
All of our classrooms have been revamped and new furniture has been installed in every room in the past year. There are colourful display areas and Notice Boards all around the school as well as attractively decorated school playgrounds.

We have also been providing extra help for those pupils whose first language is not English since 2000.
We are a Health Promoting School and are involved in the Green Schools Initiative. We provide an Optional Healthy Lunch to all of our pupils, free of charge. Our school publishes regular newsletters to keep everyone in our school community informed.
We are involved in a host of Extra-Curricular activities, both during and after school hours. Our pupils have experienced much success on the sporting fields in the past year, as well as All-Ireland success in School Quizzes.
Our location is ideal, being within 250metres of U.C.C.Creche and new Medical/Nursing School. We are 300 metres from Bon Secours Hospital and a mere 600 metres from Wilton Shopping Centre, Cork University Hospital and new Maternity Unit. We have an Open / Enrolment Week every year but there is already very strong demand for places for 2008, 2009 and 2010. Pupils attend our school from Far and Near. The fact that there is a preschool and an After Care facility on our campus is also a huge attraction.
