 Research Project at UCD for 6-10 year olds this October/November: An exploration of executive function in children with and without ADHD: using eye tracking

We are pleased to invite you to participate in a research study at UCD School of Psychology. The research aims to explore cognitive mechanisms underlying potential behavioural differences in children with and without ADHD during two computerized "TeleFE" tasks, developed by researchers at the University of Genoa, Italy. During the session, your child will play two short video games while their eye movements are monitored to explore visual reaction times and attention focus.

We are inviting all children aged 6 to 10, with or without ADHD. If you decide to participate, you and your child will need to complete consent and assent forms. The in-person study will take place at the UCD Neuropsychology Lab at UCD. During the session, your child will play two short video games while their eye movements are tracked to investigate visual reaction times and attention focus. The session will last approximately 30 minutes. You will be asked to fill out questionnaires on your child’s history, executive functions, sleep patterns, and screen use. As a token of appreciation, you will receive a voucher, a small gift for your child, and a “Kid Scientist” certificate.
