At a recent parent/teacher meeting. I was told my 10 year old is a brilliant reader. He should learn to read aloud & this will help him get a better understand of the story so that he can start to answer questions relating to his opinion of certain facts. Teacher was surprised that we werent reading aloud at home. He is in 4th class. He is a very confident reader. Is this a new way of teaching english??
