Hey all,
I´m new to this site and just seeking some ´hand on´ advice regarding the 18th mnth Primary Teaching Diploma.
I am ready to apply but really at a cross roads as to where to apply to...my choices are Mary I in Limerick and Marino in Dublin.
I have a degree already and have required LC results with honours Irish grade C3.
I am really worried about the spoken Irish interview as this would be my weak point and some friends have suggested Marino may be slightly easier to get into than Mary I. I don´t know what this advice is founded on tbh! But, am currently swaying towards Marino as have lived in Dublin before.
I do have teaching experience, I thought kids English abroad for over 2 years and absolutely loved teaching. My own background is strongly creative with active participation within the visual arts.
What I would really appreciate are hints on the Irish interview..I´ve already read through lots of pages on boards .ie etc about what it entails, but am still pretty worried!

:)

Béim níos mó ar an Gaeilge i Marino ná i Mary I.
Interviews for Dublin colleges offering postgrad course ( St. Pats Drumcondra, Marino & Froebel College) will be all held in Pats on Jan 6th & 7th.
Best of luck
