Primary School - Child not baptised.. Problem??           10/04/2012 15:55 - Choosing a School / Application Procedures (Locality: Dublin North) ----------------------------------- Hello all, am registering my little fella for schools in the area (Dublin 7) Educate Together is my preferred school but he´s way down on the list. If I apply to national (catholic) schools, will the fact he´s not baptised be an issue? Can they discriminate this way?
ALso, anyone know if you can apply to multiple educate together schools at one time? I might be moving...
Thanks muchly.

Problem??           10/04/2012 22:39 - Choosing a School / Application Procedures ----------------------------------- only time it may be a problem if school is oversubscribed but most national schools only look for birth cert ...I only needed my childs baptism cert when it was time for communion...don´t see why you can´t put your childs name down in as many schools as you like though I think most schools take from the immediate area so if your address is outside area you will be at bottom of list
