Play dates - why so many?! 03/07/2014 14:17 - Behaviour / Discipline ----------------------------------- Hi there I have an outgoing 6 year old daughter, as well as 3 yr old and 1.5yr old daughters. My 6 yr olds friend is constantly on ´play dates´ ( haha this word annoys me!)
I stick with school for my 6 yr olds socialising. She´s spends weekends at home with her family (us and her sisters) Every time I speak to my friend whose daughter is in her class, she has arranged a play date literally every wkd, with diff girls in the class.
Should I be doing this?? Coz I don´t see the need! She has her school pals in school time, and her family and neighbours in the summer. I don´t see the need for this! Ps my friends child is equally outgoing and has siblings also.
