My son is in Junior Infants and finding phonics and cursive writing really hard. Is there anything I can do as I don’t want him to fall behind or have to stay back a year.

You can communicate with the teacher to reach out to your son´s teacher to discuss your concerns. They can provide insights into your son´s progress, offer specific recommendations, and may be able to provide additional resources or strategies for practicing phonics and cursive writing at home.
Minimize distractions and ensure a quiet and comfortable environment that fosters concentration.
