Teachers will join Teeling´s lab in July 2014 to receive multidisciplinary training: get familiar with laboratory skills, will learn how to use basic bioinformatics tools and also participate in field trips. During the ´Science for School´ programme teachers will develop a free online transition year programme available to all schools (great thing to have on CV!). They will also blog about their experience in Teeling’s lab and stimulate education in these areas, highlight what a career in Science is really like and what really goes on in science labs at UCD.
Programme has been founded by SFI Discover, UCD Earth Institute and ERC.
