Job Description
Nanny required for welcoming, kind family in Sandymount, Dublin 4 to care for identical twin girls, aged 2, and to assist parents with new baby due June 2022. The position will be Monday to Friday, full time, hours negotiable. The position will assist parents with new baby during the mother’s maternity leave (January 2023) and thereafter will be sole charge; both parents working full time.
The Nanny will be responsible for care of the twins, organising fun and pedagogical activities , bringing them to the park, library etc, and taking care of the baby. Driver not essential.
Nursery duties to include children’s laundry, keeping children’s bedrooms, kitchen and living room areas clean and tidy. Nursery duties to include feeding, changing/assisting with toileting and following the daily routine for twins, as well as providing support as needed with new baby.
The Nanny will be expected to arrange interesting and educational activities e.g. music, reading, play, library, swimming. Parks, libraries and activities are within walking distance. The family home is close to the DART, C1, C2 and 7 bus routes.
It is essential to be able to cook healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the twins and assist in feeding new baby as needed.
Fluent Irish is preferred. The Nanny must be a non-smoker.
