Hi all, looking for a bit of help, met up with a family seem lovely as do the children. My question is for the area im in what money should i ask for weekly, hours are 8 till 5.30 monday to friday. I know alot of u will come back and say min wage which i totally understand. But can anyone give me a rough idea what i should ask for. It will be a weekly rate, paid 52 weeks of year. Il be minding 3 children one in primary school, one in preschool, and one at home full time with me.

Have the family mentioned registering as your employer which they legally should do?...otherwise they are paying you cash, no contract, no hol pay or bank hol pay, no notice should your job go etc.
Have you any experience and/or qualifications?
Any cleaning, housework etc?
Insurance on your car if kids are in your car? Who´s paying for that? Any mention fuel allowance etc.
Did family not mention a rate before or during your interview?
