I received recently a copy of the marriage cert of my Great Grandmother married in June 1873 and it gives her father as a Michael Smyth his profession was a ´School Master´ they lived in St Margarets Co Dublin so I assumed that he was in the local school. Is there any one that may help me to find out more about this man. Is there local school records or is that old school still standing.
