If you fancy a fun week of canoeing, hill walking, horse riding and rock climbing with a lovely bunch of young teenagers get in touch. For one week you will be part of a volunteer team, as well as with trained professionals, taking part in a fun outdoor adventure summer camp. Your role is to make sure the teenagers, who are vetted and aged between 13 and 15, have a fun holiday. You will stay in the same dorm as the boys or girls and other volunteers and eat your meals with them. The holidays run from Tuesday morning to Saturday afternoon and transport is provided to and from Dublin city centre.
No prior child care experience is required - a caring and respectful attitude towards young people is the main qualification and training will be provided. After that we just ask people to be themselves and look out for the teenagers and other volunteers. And smile!
