This is according to a group of experts in the UK. They say this is "because of the profound damage the current education system is causing" (in UK). In Finland kids don´t start formal education until age 7. What do you think - have we got it right here in Ireland starting kids at age 4/5 yrs?

I´m from Sweden and didn´t start ´proper´ school til I was 7...Some kids start when they´re 6 but if the teacher feels the child is not school-ready they´re sent home for another year! I really don´t feel comfortable with the age they send them to school in this country...Let them be kids and play for as long as possible! Sof
