Very hard to motivate my son but the girls seem to be easier. Take notes at the Parent Teacher Meeting and act accordingly. Don´t forget that Religion is now an exam subject. If she has difficulties with Maths and you can afford it, try to get a grind, even for a little while. Important thing is to get the grind from somebody who is very familiar with the JC Course - not somebody who is trying to keep a couple of pages ahead of the student!

Have a daughter doing Jun Cert this year, and two boys one in 3rd class, and one just started yesterday.
