So much information online? Help?
Information Literacy is about helping learners how to best locate, use and critically evaluate information available online, in order for them to become more savy information consumers. In this information rich age, with massive amounts of online information becoming continually available, information literacy skills help make people more critical consumers of information. Information Literacy is an essential life skill, absolutely necessary for life-long learning.

Interested in providing an Information Literacy Module for the Transition Year Programme - have been approached locally by some parents whose kids are doing TY - would help write better essays, assignments as more aware of information quality? Any opinions? Maud BA, H.Dip in Educ.
