How much to mind a 10 month old and 3 year old part time?

How much to mind a 10 month old and 3 year old part time?           reply

I´m due back to work soon and looking to pay a child minder in our own home for the following hours:

Monday: 10 month old all day (9 hours)
Tuesday: 10 month old all day, collect 3 year old from preschool and so have both from 12.15-5.15 (baby 9 hours, older child plus baby for 5 hours)
Wednesday: baby for 6.5 hours (8.30-15.00)

Hope that makes sense! So its basically it would be minding the baby for 24.5 hours a week and then older child for 5 hours... can´t for the life of me figure out what I should be paying!

For childminding it’s usually €5 per child per hour & some do a reduced rate for the second child at €3 an hour. So roughly €140 a week. As I said this is for a childminder ( kids go to their house) however you require someone to work in your home so this is where it’s more expensive technically this means you would be employing someone to work in your home so you must pay at least minimum wage approx €10 per hour regardless of how many children are being cared for.
