How many schools to apply for ? 11/07/2013 11:35 - Choosing a School / Application Procedures (Locality: Dublin North) ----------------------------------- Hi there, concerned mum, worried about the number of schools I´ve placed my daughter down for. I have her down for 3 schools, one of which is in our parish, the other 2 outside. Have been told my daughter is 78th out of 60 places in one school, but that there´s a good chance through turn downs she may get in, the other school only has one class so not sure of numbers on that one !! Is it too late to put her down anywhere else ??? Freaked !
re : How many schools to apply for ? 12/07/2013 11:08 - Choosing a School / Application Procedures ----------------------------------- Hi Reddel You haven´t said when you are hoping your daughter will start school - is it this september - if it is you will have difficulty getting through to other schools between now and the end of august to enquire. If it´s not this year, it might be worth contacting a few more schools early in september to see if they are taking applications..... just in case!
