Help moving from NI and need to get son enrolled for 1st year secondary 10/04/2016 13:37 - Choosing a School / Application Procedures (Locality: Galway) ----------------------------------- My husband and I have finally come round to the idea of moving home, having lived in NI for last 12years. We have two children, boy 11yrs(12 in May) and girl 9yrs(10 in sept.). I am panicking now because I realise I want to move for the new school year starting in September as this will enable my son to start in first year of secondary school. I assume I have missed all registration dates and am wondering can anyone give me advice on good secondary schools in Galway city, my chances of getting him in, how to go about it, generally any advice please!!! I´m panicking! Also just to be fussy would like co-ed as would consider sending my daughter when time comes. For some reason I don´t feel the same pressure regarding getting her into a primary school, am I deluded or right?!
