Friends for Daughter who is 12 in East Galway           13/05/2024 12:14 - Introduce Yourself (Locality: Galway) ----------------------------------- Hi Everyone,
Is anyone daughter who is around 12 years of age, finding it difficult to keep their friendships, my daughters friends just seem to move on every couple of months to new friends, its heart breaking. Just wondering is there anyone from East Galway on this site that has a daughter this age that is going through the same situation and would like to meet up with daughters to make new friends. Thank you

re : Friends for Daughter who is 12 in East Galway           30/08/2024 04:07 - Introduce Yourself ----------------------------------- I can understand how tough it can be for your daughter to navigate friendships at that age. It´s common for kids around 12 to experience shifting social circles, which can be really hard on them and their parents. If you´re looking for ways to help her make new friends, have you considered organizing some fun activities? One idea could be to host a game day featuring "papa´s games." These games are not only entertaining but also encourage teamwork and interaction among kids. It could be a great way for them to bond and make new connections. Best of luck, and I hope your daughter finds some wonderful friends!

It might be helpful to connect with other parents who are experiencing similar challenges. Organizing a meetup could be a great way for the girls to bond and form new friendships in a supportive environment. You´re not alone in this, and reaching out to others can really help both you and your daughter navigate these feelings. Wishing you all the best! --------------

I agree with the poster about the moving social circles. Has she started secondary yet? It will hopefully open up a larger circle of friends to her. Has she tried different activities? Also remind her we make and keep friends at different stages of our lives. How many of us are still friends with our national school friends as adults?
