I am currently studing FETAC level 5 in heathcare to stay in the heatlh sector,this is compulsery by November 2015. There are 8 modules in the course and I am enjoying this course very much.

I am currently studying QQI level 5 in healthcare, i am just finishing communications. There is 8 modules altogether. I would suggest you contact www,cmetb.ie in Cavan for details of next course.

hi i am a health carer for the elderly.i am at presant doing fetec level 5 on care of the elderly it has eight modules an it is compulsery to have it by 2015 to work in the health care sector.

Hi Mary .
I am currently taking a QQ1 level 5 course in healthcare in Ashbourne Co.Meath which i suggest if you have not done yet you should get on to the VEC and register yourself for this course as from November 2015 it will be compulsory in all nursing homes. The course entails of 8 modules.

Currently I am studing healthcare with the VEC Cavan. At the moment I am studing Communications. There are eight modules in this course I am hoping to recieve a major award as all healthcare workers have to be fully trained by 2015.

you need to research as much as you can mary ,i advise that you look on the VEC website to see if they have any courses going on healthcare.I done a course with them a few years ago.

I´ve been attending and have just finished Communications, the first of eight modules on Fetac Level 5 in Healthcare. I´ve had a great introduction to the course and am looking forward to starting the next module on Care of the Elderly. The course is being run by Cavan VEC. It is delivered on a weekly basis over a two year period. The qualification is mandatory for all Healthcare Assistants come November 2015.

I am almost completed all modules and have exams next week on Safety and Health at Work and Infection Prevention and Control.
Have you completed these exams and if so are they difficult?
