Doras Luimní is pleased to announce the launch of the Incredible Years programme for migrant parents of children aged 3-5 years old, in association with Social Services Centre, Limerick. If you are interested in finding out more about the programme, please join us at a coffee morning on Wednesday, May 19th at Social Services Centre, Henry Street, Limerick on May 19th, 10.30 am.
The programme focuses on building the child-parent relationship and aims to help prepare children for school by improving their social skills and problem solving abilities. Parents are given the opportunity to meet weekly, and with the help of facilitators share techniques for supporting their children and each other in a meaningful way.
The course will run for 14 weeks, from the end of May to early September 2010.
