Childminding in my own house 09/09/2016 20:57 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay (Locality: Cork) ----------------------------------- I am considering childminding in my own house. I´ve worked in childcare for many years now. I´m a nanny at the minute, I take my small baby with me to work but the hours are very long and I´ve a 40 to 60 minute travel morning and evening. I´m wondering how I go about things. I know I would have to register as a childminder and get insurance. Do you still get a grant? I wouldn´t know how much to charge? Do the parents pay if they are on holidays/sick? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
