Minder should have experience with small children, be affectionate, caring and energetic. Preferably minder should have references, be garda vetted and have knowledge of first aid. If minder is caring for two or three other children this would be ideal. Childminder´s home should be child friendly with toys and age appropriate activities to engage baby.
