Childminder costs for after care

Hi,

I am just wondering what the norm is for costs of childminding as the child gets older and spends less time with the childminder as will be starting Montessori.

My little one has been with her minder since she was 9 months, now 2 1/2 and planning ahead for Montessori but not sure how to approach the subject of paying the childminder less. She would still be dropping and collecting her to and from Montessori and minding her until 5.30pm.

Any advice is appreciated.
