Can child make communion in Ireland if no longer living here? 06/01/2012 01:47 - First Holy Communion (Locality: Kildare) ----------------------------------- Hello, would anybody know if a child can make their communion in Ireland if they no longer live in the country? My friends moved abroad last year and would love for their daughter to come back and make her communion with her schoolfriends that she went to school with for 3 years instead of making it abroad. The mom was told by one of the teachers before she left that it was not possible but has heard from others that it should be possible????? Thank you
re : Can child make communion in Ireland if no longer living here? 06/01/2012 21:22 - First Holy Communion ----------------------------------- I would contact the parish priest of the area the child wants to make their holy communion and if the parents are willing to do the "Do this in memory programme " with the child themselves I can´t see why they wouldn´t let them.
