re : Calendar Photos 19/10/2006 15:30 - Parents Associations ----------------------------------- I´m not sure of the legal requirement but I know that in our school, permission was sought from parents before the class photos were taken for a calendar. Even if there isn´t a legal requirement to seek permission ( and there may be) I still think you could end up with quite a lot of annoyed parents and unnecessary grief if you do not seek permission. If you are short on time ymaybe you could send out a note to parents saying that the calendar is being prepared and anyone who wants to be omitted should let you know by a certain date.
Calendar Photos 18/10/2006 20:42 - Parents Associations ----------------------------------- We´ve received a query from a parents council who are at present planning a calendar incorporating class pictures. They are wondering if there is any issue with privacy etc if they print the pictures on the calendar. Is anyone aware whether they are required to seek the parents permission prior to having a pupils picture included in a class photo on a school calendar?
