Hi there,

I have a little boy who will be 4 in March 2013, making him 41/2 if he starts school next year and 51/2 if he starts in 2014. I am inclined to start him in 2013.

We currently live in the city centre but plan on moving to Dublin 14 (most likely Churchtown area) at the start of next year - to be closer to work and as we´ve outgrown the apartment we´re in.

Can anyone recommend a good primary school in this area (or Dublin 18, Dublin 4 or Dublin 6) that we have a chance of getting in to? Do any of them do breakfast club and/or afterschool club as we both work from 8.30am - 5pm? As we´ll be renting we are flexible about where we move to but are keen to be quite close to work
