A friend of a friend is offering to mind her for €50 per day .. hours are 8.15 until 17.30 , she would be the only child being minded . The lady is not a qualified or registered childminder but has grown up kids of her own ..

The lack of insurance at €50 a day would be way too much for many especially as its a five yr old and especially if its 5 days a week. Has she minded kids before? Price registered childminders in your area and see what they are offering. Will there be other kids of similar age, planned activities, outings etc. If ye are planning camps, will she drop/collect?

Your friend is someone you already know and trust. Nine hours work a day for 50 euro is half minimum wage...i believe you have a great setup for that...go for it!
