No I don´t think your bein paid enough I got offered three euro an hour for two babys it only added up to thirty a day for the same hours ino childcare is expensive for the parents but yous should be paid min

if it suits you to mind the child in his home and your happy with 50 a day well then your not underpaid . If your there and the child is having a nap and your having to make dinner for him i wouldn´t see any prob throwing on a bit more for the parents too..
If Your no longer happy minding in their home for this rate then you really need to have a chat with them .You wont have the prob of cooking dinner for them if you mind the child in your home ...
better to have a chat than let it fester ..

.they want their cake and eat it.a cook gets 10 euro an hour.so really.you should be paid12/15 euro an hour.did they ask you to do in the first place.eventually you will be cleaning the whole house.you should have a word with them.

mindermum is right .how long are you working for the family ?
maybe if its nearing a year you could ask for a pay review.
do you have to pay bus fare you could ask they pay that per day
this would up your money a bit .its about not losing your job.
some minders will work for 1euro per hour.
your countychildcare run courses for childminders your get a cert and lots of
good info also your get to chat with other minders .

If you are working in their home you by law must be paid min wage 8.65ph if u are in your home then 5 euro per hour, they are really under paying you. why did u agree to these terms

Hi all..
I´m minding one child 11hrs a day.. Do everything with him and cook dinner for the parents and child ...
I get 50 euro a day and mind him in his house..
I´m not qualified but have minded children most of my life...would love your info on this

No, you are not being paid enough. The going rate is 5.00 ph, which is not really enough anyway, but thats only in your own home,(minders home), you are not being paid enough to look after child in his own home, I think that should be minimum wage, and they should be looking after your prsi etc. You are not being paid for being a cook either, go back and have a word with them, I think they may be exploiting you.
