A few questions regarding charges for childminders 13/05/2013 07:40 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay ----------------------------------- Hi,
I have 2 daughters, one would need collecting at 1.30-3.30 and the other 2.30-3.30. No petrol costs, all within walking distance (older daughter would prob even walk to childminder herself). How much would you pay? I know 1 child is normally €5 & 2 would be €8 in childminders home. Can I ask to pay €5 for the first hour and €8 for the 2nd? If I am being asked to pay €10 for the 2nd hour is that too much? They would only look for a fruit snack in that time which I would provide. Also how do you work paying for holidays? Can you ask the childminder not to work summers and expect not to pay? Sorry a lot of questions, have only ever used a playschool for my older daughter.
