10yr old Chemistry Addict 10/09/2013 21:30 - Miscellaneous (Locality: Dublin South) ----------------------------------- I have a 10 year old boy that lives and breathes chemistry. He is very bright and has done the DTY course in DCU but is looking to further his knowledge. He has read every book on chemistry available in both children´s and adults sections of the libraries. I would love to find a way for him to work on his experiments that are currently all done in his bedroom. He is so enthusiastic and excited about it but due to neither myself or my husband having any knowledge on the subject I am becoming increasingly nervous about what he is doing. Does anyone know of somewhere he could go? I thought maybe if I could get someone to come to ´tutor´ him once a week and supervise what experiments he plans on doing each week. DTY said he was probably Intercert Level but that was some time ago and he has moved on a lot since then. Any suggestions welcome! Anneliese
