I sat my leaving cert in 1981. I can say that I enjoyed my time at St. Johns very much. in 1979 we won the u16 Soccer and Gaelic Leinster championships. We went on to represent leinster in the all Ireland´s in Falcarragh Donegal.

I found some old photos from our Debs in 1981. The debs was held in the Gresham Hotel Dublin and believe it or not we were allowed to have an after Debs party in the prefabs that existed back then. Amazing level of trust by the school and teachers which was repaid in full as the party was fantastic with absolutely no trouble.

I remember some quality teachers, John Dredge (History and Geography), Mr Tyrrell (Local lad come teacher) Barry Conroy(Economics) There were many others can´t remember them all.

Anyway I will find some old photos and get them onto the site.
